SECURE LOGISTICS OPERATOR (SLO)
All VEXSL employees possess a baseline skill set as an SLO. Once you have successfully completed the VEXSL on-boarding, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an SLO and the standard operating procedures. SLO’s carry out vital functions in supporting of our ground and air logistics operations. Some areas they operate in are:
- Administration
- Facility Operations
- Corporate Operations
- Business Development
- Fleet Maintenance
SECURE TRANSPORT OPERATOR (STO)
A VEXSL STO is responsible for conducting the vital business operations relating to the ground movements of temperature-sensitive, high-risk and high-value products. A STO will generally be operating in a 2-person team, armed in a secure truck. An STO must possess the following skills and experience, at minimum, to be considered:
- Valid Restricted Possession and Acquisition License (RPAL)
- First Aid
- A minimum of 1 year commercial driving experience
- Valid Driver’s License – Preference will be given to Commercial Class 1 & 3 (Class 5 w/Air Brake Endorsement Accepted)
- FEWER than 5 Demerit points on Commercial Drivers Abstract
- Pass a security criminal background check
